| Organized in 1870 as the first mission Church of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS) in the state of Texas, what is today know as Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Fedor, Texas, remains in fellowship with the LCMS as a mission-oriented, Bible-based, confessional Lutheran Church founded on the teachings of Martin Luther.

Organized in 1891, Saint James Lutheran Church of Lexington, Texas, is a daughter congregation of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Fedor. The two congregations have joined together in a dual-parish ministry for much of their history up to the present. A member of the Lutheran Church - Missouir Synod along with Holy Trinity, Saint James is likewise committed to the doctrine and practice of the Lutheran Reformation. It is by God's grace that both of our congregations came into being, and are kept steadfast in Christ and His Word!
